It's a new option that allows you to make a small contribution towards the future development of renewable energy sources as you use your electricity. What's more, for every contribution you make, we will match it, up to a combined annual limit of £250k. | | |

| | How does the Green Fund Tariff work? | | |
| | It's very easy. You simply opt to pay a small increase of 0.5p (excluding VAT) over Standard Quarterly, Standard Domestic and Economy 7 tariffs in the Band B unit rate - which works out at about £15 a year for the average customer. | | |
| | SEEBOARD promises to match all of our customer contributions up to a combined maximum of £250,000 a year - creating a potential annual fund of £500,000 to invest in renewable energy projects. | | |

| | What happens to the money in the Fund? | | |
| | An independent Green Fund Trust has been established to allocate all the money in the Green Fund to renewable energy projects. | | |
| | Members of the Trust include experts in green energy from a regional university, a conservation group and a local authority as well as two members from SEEBOARD plc. | | |
| | The Trust will work together to decide where to invest the Fund in order to help to develop energy generation from non-fossil and non-nuclear sources. | | |
| | In addition to wind and wave power, renewable energy sources can include solar, small scale hydro-electric power, bio-gas from sewage and landfill gas which can all be used to produce electricity. | | |

| | Who can GO green? | | |
| | All SEEBOARD customers can help save the environment - either by signing up for the new tariff, or by making a donation of up to £15 a year. | | |

| | If you are a SEEBOARD or SEEBOARD Energy customer, on either the Standard Domestic or Economy 7 Domestic electricity tariffs within the SEEBOARD authorised area, you can choose to sign up to the Green Fund Tariff. All you pay is an extra 0.5p (ex VAT) on the Band B unit charge on the Standard Domestic or Economy 7 Domestic electricity tariffs. | | |
